College releases statement after ‘strong verbal argument’ at SCEUCBy: KAVAHN MANSOURI

On April 29, a strong verbal argument took place in a classroom at the STLCC South County Education Center between a student and an instructor. There was no physical contact between the two and the student left the classroom.
STLCC Campus Public Information and Marketing sent an e-mail on behalf of District Chief Robert Stewart acknowledging the incident and informed STLCC that there would be an increased security presence at the South County Education Center.
Meramec Campus Police have been asked by Vice President of Student Affairs Linden Crawford to remove the student, who also attends Meramec, from class, for disciplinary action.
